How long is Echo Weaver? First-run reports and their limits

Release-era player reports · checked October 12, 2026 · no puzzle solutions

The short answer

One release-era player reports taking 16 hours; another was still exploring after 10 hours. Those accounts suggest allowing several sessions for a first playthrough, but they do not establish an average or a guaranteed 10–16-hour range.

HowLongToBeat displayed insufficient completion-time data when checked on October 12. A confident main-story or 100% average is not yet supported by that page.

Choose a realistic first-run budget

  1. Allow several sessions if you want to discover the puzzle rules yourself.
  2. Treat the 16-hour account as one planning example, with room for a longer run if you explore thoroughly or struggle with movement.
  3. Use a focused hint when one obstacle is consuming repeated loops. A keypad rule or Throw/Hurl distinction may be the missing knowledge.
  4. Keep optional quests and full achievement hunting outside any claimed main-story estimate.

The same player estimated that others might take 10–15 hours. That is their expectation, not another set of completed runs, so we do not average it with their own time.

Separate a demo, a replay and a first discovery

man-teiv said the demo took them a couple of hours before the full game. Those demo hours are separate from the later 16-hour account; do not add them to a universal completion estimate.

The discussion describes knowledge-based abilities and the possibility of much faster informed replays. Knowing a solution changes the task. A speedrun is not a useful deadline for a player solving it for the first time.

There is no verified 100% estimate here

These reports do not supply a completed all-items, all-quests and all-achievements time. HowLongToBeat’s blank completionist field is missing data, not zero hours.

Before replacing an existing run to replay, check the release-era save-slot limitation. This page helps choose a time budget; it does not promise a particular ending or achievement result.
