Does Echo Weaver have multiple save slots?

The short answer

The October 10 developer reply says multiple save slots were not ready for launch and are planned. The latest visible Steam notes checked October 12, 1.0.0.61, do not announce their addition. Do not treat the promise as an already available separate-save option.

If you want to preserve your current bonus time, health and unfinished character stories, keep the existing run while you check your installed build and released notes.

Choose what you want to preserve

Patroklos wanted to replay the final loop from a fresh save after the basic ending, while keeping the progress needed to finish character stories. That is the specific problem behind the extra-slot request.

Before choosing a fresh start, decide whether you still want the current run’s progress. A request for extra slots is not evidence that a new game can coexist with your existing save.

The developer confirmed a plan, not a release date

Greeksalad said the team tried to include extra slots for launch but held the feature back because it was delicate. The reply promises an addition without giving a verified date.

Check released Steam patch notes for an explicit save-slot addition. Neither the discussion’s title nor the word “soon” proves your installed build supports it.

Keep unfinished tasks in the current run

If the reason to restart is a missed character task, first check whether you can pursue it in your current run. The source specifically raises unfinished stories, rather than showing that resetting is necessary.

Do not use an unverified backup recipe

This source does not provide a save-file location, cloud-sync procedure or tested restore process. We therefore do not give a file path or claim that copying a file makes a restart reversible.

If your installed version visibly offers more slots, compare its released notes with this dated launch limitation. Preserve the existing run until you have confirmed the behavior you need.
