Find the Mnemosyne Spindle during the final escape

Windows PC release · community answers checked October 12, 2026 · spoilers

The short answer

Start the loom in the final loop, then look near the end of the escape sequence. After opening the red-beam doors, inspect the wall on the right above those doors. The reported breakable wall hides the Mnemosyne Spindle.

This is an ending spoiler and a community-confirmed location. A marker on your map does not provide the entrance by itself.

The location is tied to the final escape

Marculus initially had the spindle marked on the map but could not reach it. Their follow-up locates the entrance during the escape after starting the loom in the final loop.

Use this landmark when you are in that sequence. The reply does not establish a route to the spindle before starting the loom or explain every requirement for reaching the final loop.

Look above the red-beam doors

  1. Start the loom in the final loop.
  2. Proceed through the resulting escape sequence.
  3. Near its end, open the red-beam doors.
  4. Look to the right, above those doors, for the breakable wall.
  5. Break that wall and check the space behind it for the spindle.

Confirm the landmark before spending more attempts

The useful distinction is height: inspect the wall above the doors, rather than only searching at door level. The source gives a relative location, not coordinates or a screenshot of the wall.

It also does not specify a destruction binding or an exact number of red-beam doors. Use the action you have learned for breakable walls and your own configured controls.

If you cannot find the entrance

Check that you are near the end of the escape that follows the final-loop loom, then inspect the right wall above the opened doors. Marculus reports finding it, with a developer response acknowledging the success.

A different wall, earlier loop or map marker alone may not match that report. Note your build and the room if the landmark differs; this source does not verify whether you can return after completing the escape. For a separate cathedral access problem, see the Depths route.
